Treat your pimples the way they ought to be treated

Pimples are easy to get rid of if you use the right remedies. And yes, squeezing or prodding them is a strict no!

The worst thing about developing pimples is that they crop up on the face when you least expect them to. You might be preparing for your birthday celebrations, or for an office party or even heading out of the city on a mini break. But right on cue pops up a pimple on your face, arresting the attention and causing you no end of sadness.

But pimples are easier to get rid of than acne. They are not as stubborn, and if not forced out of the skin, they seldom leave a scar. However, popping pimples with a fingernail or squeezing them are sure to cause slight bleeding and scarring. So the best way to handle a pimple is to leave it alone.

The next step is to zap it with a good natural pimple treatment remedy. Try any of these:

Steam and moisturise. Heat water in a vaporiser and apply cleanser all over your face. Now let the steam all over your face till the cleanser comes out in a creamy goo. Wipe the face with a cotton pan, pimples included. The steam will soften the pimple and the cleanser will work at its root to make extraction easier. You will find that the pimple is wiped away easily on the cotton pad. Wash your face with cold water and apply moisturises to the skin at once.

Raw garlic. Garlic offers excellent anti-bacterial and curative properties. Crush a clove of garlic to release its juice. With a clean finger, apply the juice directly on the pimple – this might sting! Let it dry before applying more juice. Wash after 30 minutes. Do this twice a day to dry out the pimple completely.

Toothpaste cure. The toothpaste you use is a good anti-pimple treatment. It contains chemicals that bleach and dry the skin – both are beneficial properties for removing pimples. Apply a dot of toothpaste on the pimple to cover it completely and go to bed. When you wake up in the morning, you will notice that the toothpaste has dried out the pimple. Gently wiping with a cotton pad removes it entirely.

Icy treatment. You tried steaming your pimples; now try icing them. Run a cube of ice all over the face and neck before you go to sleep. Let the ice cube linger on the pimple till you feel a numbing and burning sensation. Pat your face dry and go to sleep. Your pimples will have subsided as you sleep at night. Cleanse the face and apply another ice cube.

Vinegar tales. The vinegar you use in your food is loaded with anti-bacterial and cleansing properties. Apply a drop of vinegar directly to the pimple and let it dry for 10 minutes. The pimple begins to dry from the first application and will be gone in a couple of days without leaving a trace.
